MMUK representation in ABMMS
Akhil Bharat Varshiya Maheshwari Mahasabha (ABMMS) decided to appoint two members from MMUK in their Karya Kari Mandal’s NRI quota with voting rights. This has been possible due to great presence of MMUK team and members at MGC Jodhpur in January this year.

MMUK President and External PR role bearers will be representing MMUK in ABMMS. Shri Shyam Sunder ji Soni, Sabhapati and Shri R L ji Kabra, Arth Mantri of ABMMS have confirmed this.

This will allow making the bond stronger between both organisations and will provide opportunities for MMUK to connect with other NRI Karya Kari members from across the globe.

Family Holidays
We asked parents to engage their youngsters and send a write-up on their memorable ‘ Family Holiday’. This section is featuring those write-ups.

Master Yashay Maheshwari, Age: 8 1/2 years

Master Samraat Sonee, Age: 6 1/2 years

Aayush Darak, Age 14 yr
Neither my holiday was visiting exotic places such as Dubai or Greece nor was it about trying new hobbies such as skiing. My summer holiday was visiting the same places I have been to over the previous years. You must be thinking, why would you visit the same place more than twice, there are many other places I could have gone to? Nevertheless, this was special to me and I will always remember as one of the best trips that I have experienced. This time I went with my grandparents who came over to spend the summer with me and my family. So here goes the story…

On Thursday, we went to the airport. When we got there, we started scrolling the bags to the desk where they check the passports. We had our dinner at the airport and entered the flight which was for 2 hours. When we reached Rome airport, we went to the desk again to show the passports and got our bags and pram. We went to the hotel from airport.

Next morning on Friday, after having breakfast, we started our sightseeing in Rome. Firstly, we visited the Vatican. There we saw a gallery of ancient pictures of Rome. We also visited Sistine Chapel where we had to be quiet as it is a church. On the walls, we saw loads of paintings, Jesus on the cross and lots of candles. Later, we saw the St Peter’s Basilica. We saw a big church there and huge paintings and statues. Later we had dinner and rested.

Next day, we had breakfast and went to see Colosseum. When we arrived at Colosseum, we took pictures. Later in the day, we visited various famous places in Rome with lots of fountains and monuments.

Next day was Sunday and last day of our trip. We had our breakfast and then we got out of the hotel and went to see Spanish steps. Then we went to a cafe and had some cake. From there, we got a sketch done of me and my little brother. Later, we saw Trevi fountain, it is a beautiful fountain. Then we went to hotel to get our bags and then left for the airport to return back to London. We scrolled the bags to the desk to show our passports, after 2 hours we were in the plane and reached London. Then we went to the desk again and we went in the taxi to home. And our memorable trip to Rome ended!

Master Aarav Jain, Age 5 years
Memorable Holiday at Legoland

In summer holidays I went to Legoland and loved it because I love Legos. I was amazed to see the Mclaren car which was made of 500,000 lego pieces. I wish to make a bigger lego figure one day.

We all went on a boat ride which I enjoyed first but later I felt that I was nearly going to fall down. I also enjoyed the spinning cup ride with my friends and family.

Then we went to miniature land where I found many cities which were really tiny. The miniature land was very educational.

The water rides and ice cream made me feel cool on that hot sunny day. In the afternoon sun came out and nearly washed off my spider man tattoo.

It was the best outing ever because I love legos and I was able to see dinosaurs, cars, superheroes made out of Legos.
